Mr. John Michael Rico

Mr. John Michael M. Rico is Manila Water Company’s Business Development Manager for Myanmar since 2014, for Manila Water’s Asia Pacific group. Mr. Rico is in‐charge of all new business efforts in Myanmar, including identification of new business opportunities, conduct of feasibility studies, due diligence, and relationship management and stakeholder engagement, among others. Mr. Rico started in Manila Water Company in 2012 and previously handled the roles of Senior Territory Manager and Key Accounts Manager. Prior to joining Manila Water, Mr. Rico was Head Writer and Senior Researcher for the Public Affairs Office of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). Mr. Rico holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Santo Tomas. He also completed Post‐Graduate course work on Advance Leadership and Management from the University of the
Philippines. Mr. Rico is also in completing his coursework on a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, also from the University of the Philippines.
