Mr. Manoj Aggarwal

Mr Manoj Aggarwal has 30 years of experience in the industry in India and he has been with Cairn India Limited since 2014. He is currently Head Business development and Public Affairs; responsible for multifaceted coordination and service operations at the prolific Rajasthan oilfields of the company, conceptualizing, planning, implementing and monitoring CSR activities; strategic relationship building; policy advocacy at various industry associations, State Government of Rajasthan and Gujarat; Government of India as well as community elders and other members of civic society in our operational areas. Mr Manoj also spearheads the operational facilitation and regulatory compliance management of core operations in our Oil and Gas exploration and projection activities on one hand and supporting key initiatives such as new business development, land management and major CSR initiatives on the other, including leading the project to establish over 330 safe drinking water units in Rajasthan, India-an initiative which is the largest of its kind in the CSR domain. Manoj holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Management Control Systems from IIM Lucknow. He also holds a Degree of Masters in Administration & Public Management from University of Paris – Pantheon Sorbonne. He has also been trained at French National Academy of Administration, Paris and Academy of International Law, Hague. His work experience prior to Cairn includes a stint with Highways – DSC Limited as CEO where he led a team for comprehensive management of the operational BOT highway projects, a stint with Delhi Integrated Multi Modal Transit System, and a long career spanning over 15 years with the Government in various regulatory and development domains.
