Mr. Khin Maung Htaey

U Khin Maung Htaey is a member of Central Executive Committee of Myanmar Engineering Society (MES), headed as the Chairman of Water Supply and Sanitation Technical Division from 2002 until present. Apart from that, he has also participated as a member of few other projects; Environmental Engineering Technical Division, Myanmar Investment Commission Projects Assessment Committee, and Advisory Group of National Water Resources Committee and a registered National Counterpart of the Committee for Quality Control of High-Rise Building Construction projects. Previously, U Khin Maung Htaey has worked for 22 years in the water supply and sanitary engineer holding the post as an Assistant Engineer and Executive Engineer under the Ministry of Construction. From 2003 until 2011, he was the Deputy Director (Engineer) and Project Engineer in the Department of Development Affairs under Ministry for progress of Border Areas and National Races and Development Affairs in which he had done a lot of designs for projects and implementations for related to water supply and sanitation works for both rural and urban areas. He has also presented papers related to town water supply at MES and Department of Development Affairs and participated in teaching “Water and Wastewater Engineering” subject to young engineers at MES.
